Rory Knight is Chairman of Gratia International Limited. He is also Chairman of Oxford Metrica and he is a member of the board of trustees at the John Templeton Foundation. His career has spanned both the academic and business worlds globally. Prior to founding Oxford Metrica he served two terms as the Dean of Templeton, the University of Oxford’s business college. He was responsible for Templeton’s overall strategy and direction. Previously a Deputy Director in the Swiss National Bank (SNB), Rory’s role included providing policy advice on international financial matters and he retains significant links with central banks around the world. Dr Knight advises numerous corporations and foundations internationally. He has published extensively in finance and business policy. Dr Knight has considerable experience in tertiary education in Africa. He served as the external examiner for the MBA degree at the University of Zimbabwe and was a visiting professor at the University of Cape Town.
